Recommended use
For print, keep it simple and test the finished code.
For business cards, flyers and other printed material, SVG is usually the best choice because it remains sharp when resized. Keep strong black-on-white contrast and leave the clear white border around the code.
Around 25–30 mm square is a practical starting size for a business card. Before ordering a full print run, scan a physical proof with more than one phone and from a normal scanning distance.
Static means permanent: the destination is encoded directly into the QR code. If the destination URL changes later, the printed QR code cannot be edited. For long-lived printed material, consider pointing the code to a short URL on a domain you control, which you can redirect later if needed.
